Steve DeHekker Discusses Historic Washington University Recreation Center

In the October 2016 edition of Athletic Business Magazine, Hastings+Chivetta Project Manager Steve DeHekker discusses the unique and historic new Gary M. Sumers Recreation Center at Washington University. “This bridge became a link from the historic front door to the new facility — a bridge from the past to the present.” The access control bridge pictured here originated at the entrance of Francis Gymnasium on campus, which was used for the 1904 Olympics.
