Arkansas State Recreation & Wellness Center Dedication

Arkansas State University held a dedication ceremony for the new $15 million Recreation & Wellness Center designed b y Hastings+Chivetta, in collaboration with local associate Brackett Krennerich Architects. The two-level facility has a three-court gymnasium with suspended track, a separate multi-activity court, weights training, cardio fitness space; multipurpose studio,locker rooms, equipment issue/laundry room, meeting rooms, juice bar, student lounge, administrative office suite and the Wellness Assessment Center with examination rooms. ASU and the City of Jonesboro envision a joint venture indoor/outdoor aquatics facility for the second phase.
