Integrating Institutional Mission with Architecture

Chris Chivetta will be presenting at the ACE (American Council on Education) Annual Meeting in Washington DC this weekend, together with Stephanie Fabritius, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Centre College.  Centre College focuses on creating a collaborative academic community and sought an architectural partner that understands the importance of reflecting institutional mission in their learning environments.  Hastings+Chivetta has worked closely with Centre College for the past 15 years to develop architectural solutions that encourage learning in a variety of settings and treat the entire campus as an academic space.

The session will underscore the connections between architecture and teaching methodologies, and outline facility strategies and improvements that can be used on other campuses.

If you are attending the conference, Chris and Stephanie will be presenting at 3pm today.  Hastings+Chivetta will also be in Booth #215 on March 3rd and 4th – we hope to see you there!
