Hastings+Chivetta Working with MICDS to Modernize Aquatic Facilities

MICDS (Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School) has engaged Hastings+Chivetta to develop design concepts to modernize their aquatic center. Built in 1967, Beaumont Natatorium is home to the school’s men’s and women’s swimming and water polo teams, as well as PE classes, the MICDS adult swim program, and local community swim teams.  The current 8-lane, 25-yard pool can accommodate 500 spectators.

Currently in the early planning stages, we are working with MICDS to develop a state-of-the-art natatorium that will meet the school’s current and future needs.  This project is being funded by the $65 million MICDS capital campaign, which has raised $47.7 million to date.
