New Student Center Moves Ahead at UAB

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is moving forward with Hastings+Chivetta’s design for their new student center.  Approved by the University of Alabama System Board of Trustees and set to be finished in 2015, the new Hill Student Center will be a one-stop-shop for student services on campus.  It is designed to create new opportunities for students, faculty and staff to interact, as well as welcome visitors to campus and attract new students.

Staff and administrators are busy making preparations to move into their temporary offices in preparation for demolition of the old student center.

Hastings+Chivetta is partnered with Herrington Architects for the design of the new student center.
