Principal

Jim Gabel was previously with Hastings+Chivetta for 20 years, and re-joins the team as a Partner, bringing with him a deep passion and extensive experience in the field. His journey into architecture was fueled by a lifelong love for drawing and buildings, which naturally evolved into a career. In his role, Jim focuses on business development and project management, driving growth and ensuring successful project execution.

Outside of his professional life, Jim finds joy in landscape and cityscape photography, capturing the character of the environments he admires. He is inspired by positivity and believes firmly in the motto “Carpe diem” — seize the day. This philosophy drives both his work and personal life, pushing him to grab every opportunity with enthusiasm and a positive outlook.
