Preston Scott

Principal
Preston re-joins Hastings+Chivetta as a Partner and member of the management team. He manages the daily flow of office life to keep us running smoothly and leads architectural projects from start to finish, pulling from his extensive experience on student life and campus residential facilities.
In his free time, Preston is inspired by the spunk his daughter brings, and enjoys video games, board games, and pretty much any sport involving a racquet—like tennis, racquetball, and ping-pong. He loves watching football and dreams of visiting every country in the world with his wife.

- A random fact about you: I am a connoisseur of dad jokes (even though I only recently became a dad).
- What is your favorite H+C project? Why?! Idaho Arena – It’s the most unique building I have ever worked on since it is almost entirely wood. The end result definitely met the client expectation of “a cathedral in wood.”
- Best vacation ever? African Safari – it’s like being inside Animal Planet or a nature show.
