Temple University Chooses H+C for $40 Million Addition and Renovation

Hastings+Chivetta, in association with H2L2, was chosen by Temple University to complete a $40 million addition and renovation of Pearson and McGonigle Halls. The unique building solution constructs a 70,000 sf third level across the top of the two buildings and joins the buildings with a new two-story atrium. The addition includes separate basketball practice courts for the men’s and women’s varsity basketball teams, a four-court recreation gym, three multi-purpose rooms, a training room, locker rooms, laundry, storage and administrative suites. Renovated facilities include the pool, fitness center, racquetball courts, climbing wall, retail, foodservice, offices and lecture hall.
